On Demand Seminar Spotlight on Leadership

  • Conflicts of Interest Unpacked - Conflicts of interest can certainly cause serious harm when they are mishandled, yet their occurrence is not unusual in our professional lives. In this course, you’ll learn about some of your key professional obligations regarding conflicts of interest.

  • How to Provide Effective Feedback and Improve Engagement – This course will introduce the latest research in providing effective feedback to discuss how managers can mentor and develop their staff while also improving firm retention of top talent.

  • How to Succeed as a First Time Manager - Moving from an individual contributor to a first-time management role requires a major leap in your career. It’s a completely different role. Your new job is to create the conditions for others to succeed, not to do the work yourself. As a manager, you must develop the skills of effective delegation and motivation and avoid the trap of micromanagement.

  • Influencing without Authority - Leaders are recognizing that if they want to achieve results in this environment, they must be good at influencing others. Participants will learn why being able to influence has become one of the most important leadership skills in the modern workplace, and how to influence in a professional and effective way.

  • Intercultural Leadership - This course is about being an effective leader in diverse contexts with team members from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. This calls for respect and an authentic desire to learn to be a better leader to diverse teams. You may find this course to be challenging at times, as it encourages each participant to examine, re-evaluate and change long-held beliefs, biases, assumptions and behaviours.

  • Strategic CFO Leadership Program - Learn to move beyond the accounting and processing side of the finance function and become forward looking and strategic.

  • Working together – Four Generations in the Workplace - Does it seem like there are more disagreements at work? It might be because you are working with 4 generations in the workplace. Each generation develops based on reactions to prior generations, significant global events, and even the movies and music that they watch. A great workplace embraces the diversity of the generations, appreciates each group for their strengths, and learns to motivate and manages each group effectively.
