As we approach the end of the calendar year, it’s the perfect time to review your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) progress and ensure you’re on track to meet both the 2025 annual requirements and the three-year rolling cycle ending December 31, 2025.

A reminder that all CPD learning activities must be completed in 2025 and reported and declared no later than April 1, 2026.

Under Rule 203 of the CPA Manitoba Code of Professional Conduct, all members are required to maintain and enhance their professional competence. Staying current with evolving standards and practices ensures that members continue to deliver high-quality professional services and uphold the integrity of the CPA designation.

CPD includes any new learning that is relevant to your current role, future aspirations, or professional responsibilities. Members must report only the actual number of hours spent developing their professional competencies.

CPA Manitoba offers a professional development program with over 500 seminars covering a wide range of topics. View the full catalogue of seminars

How to Report CPD Hours
CPD can be reported at any time of the year through the member portal. You can also view your previously reported hours to assess whether additional learning activities are needed to fulfill the minimum CPD requirements by December 31, 2025.

To prevent underreporting and last-minute stress, we encourage members to report CPD activities as they are completed and plan for the remainder of the year accordingly.

Minimum CPD Requirements

*Other CPD may be fulfilled either by verifiable or unverifiable learning activities.
