Nominations for CPA Manitoba's Board of Directors are open until Monday, May 25, 2026, and an election will be held to fill four vacant seats. Members in good standing who reside in Manitoba and who want to contribute to the effective governance of the profession should consider nomination.

The CPA Manitoba Board is responsible for providing oversight of CPA Manitoba in delivering our mandate to protect the public and advance the profession.

The Board is committed to ensuring that its composition accurately reflects the diversity of the membership in our province. This includes diversity of perspective, expertise, gender, ethnicity and geography. In addition, the Board will aim to have representation from a variety of industry sectors, including small, medium, and large enterprises, government, education and public practice. If you are interested in learning more about the current composition of the Board, please review this information sheet.

At all times, at least one elected member of the Board shall be: (a) currently resident; (b) employed or practising or retired from employment or practice, in Manitoba outside the boundaries of Winnipeg in accordance with Bylaw 202 (3). This requirement is fulfilled by a current Board member.

The deadline to have a nomination approved is 4:00 pm on Monday, May 25, 2026.

Full details on the nomination process can be found on our website.

As we begin this year's election process, we want to acknowledge the time and energy our current Board members have dedicated to the profession.
