Enrolling in CPA Manitoba’s web-based or in-person PD seminars declares your agreement to the following Terms & Conditions.
Please register early to secure your spot. This will also aid to prevent seminar cancellation due to low enrollment. The registration deadline is seven calendar days prior to the seminar date unless otherwise noted.
Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis; walk-ins are not permitted. Seminar confirmations advising of the time and location will be sent by email.
Please ensure that your member profile is up to date on the CPA Manitoba website and includes your preferred email address.
PD Passes may not be used until payment is received in full and may not be used retroactively for courses taken prior to its purchase or for courses beyond March 31, 2022.
Any unused portions of the PD Pass cannot be refunded, credited or carried forward.
CPA Manitoba will automatically update the CPD hours for members who sign in and attend the seminars held in the CPA Learning Centre. If you were unable to attend an entire seminar or feel that the seminar was not applicable to your verifiable reporting requirements, please adjust your hours accordingly.
Members should update their own CPD hours for web-based seminars.

If you must cancel or transfer a seminar registration, please submit your request by email to the Professional Development Coordinator at [email protected];

Cancellations/transfers received at least seven calendar days prior to the seminar date will result in a full refund. Cancellations received less than seven calendar days but more than two business days prior to the seminar date are subject to an administration
fee of $50 plus applicable taxes.
Registrants who do not attend and do not notify CPA Manitoba in writing at least two business days prior to the seminar date will not receive a refund or credit. For PD Pass holders, this will result in forfeiture of the portion of the PD Pass used to register for the seminar.
Non-PD Pass registrants who find it impossible to attend a seminar may send a replacement. CPA should be advised of any changes prior to the seminar date.
Corporate Pass registrations are transferable to staff within the organization. CPA should be advised of any changes prior to the seminar date.
Seminars may have to be postponed or cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. Our liability will be limited to a refund of the registration fee. In the case of a PD Pass registration, our liability will be limited to restoring the PD Pass day used to register for the seminar.
Under no circumstances will the PD Pass fee itself be refunded, credited or carried forward.
Registrants will be notified by email one week prior to the seminar date if a seminar is cancelled.
Members are urged to register early to ensure adequate enrollment.
In the event of a last minute scheduling problem, we reserve the right to substitute a fully qualified speaker who is not listed in the seminar description.
The maximum number of participants allowed in a seminar is dependent on the type of presentation and delivery format set by the instructor. A wait list is available if a seminar you want to register for is full.
Unless otherwise stated, lunch and coffee breaks are provided at
full day in-class seminars. Coffee breaks (not lunch) are provided for
half day in-class seminars.
