AI In Action Series: Hands on With AI - Prompting Essentials for CPAs

This course introduces CPAs to the practical use of artificial intelligence through effective prompting, with a focus on maintaining professional judgment. The course is designed to provide you with a structured, practical foundation for using AI appropriately within existing professional standards. This live virtual seminar is offered in collaboration with CPA Western Provinces. The content is applicable to all participants.

   
As AI tools become more common in professional workflows, understanding how prompt quality influences output reliability is essential to responsible use. 

Using applied examples drawn from accounting and advisory contexts, this course demonstrates how AI can assist with tasks such as contract review, financial forecasting, and anomaly detection. Emphasis is placed on defining appropriate use cases, establishing professional guardrails, and reinforcing that AI outputs require human review and professional sign-off.
