Resilient Leader Series: The Transforming Mindset of a Resilient Leader

What do people need most from Leaders? When employees are asked this question, the answers are overwhelmingly about more hope, trust, compassion, clarity and stability. There is a yearning to move away from that languishing feeling to create a more robust culture of confidence and optimism. They want to go to work and feel challenged to “show up” and work hard towards things that matter.

And they are looking to their leaders to signal and model ways to build a team that can withstand the pressures, work harder together, learn faster together, and move forward successfully. The challenge is obvious.

Can you build a resilient team? The answer is simple but not easy. With the right mindset and a solid strategy, leaders can build teams that believe in one another and rise to any challenge.

In this session, we will explore the 5 mindsets a leader needs to respond to heightening and ongoing change. A leader who has taken the time for self reflection and who personally knows the benefit of a resilient mindset is an inspiring example of what is needed now. Hope and Optimism, Personal Purpose, Compassion, Curiosity and Courage demonstrated by leaders build resilience in teams. You can be a model of resilience by focusing on small daily actions that have a big impact over time. You will leave with a timely and practical toolbox of immensely practical strategies and actions that you can use even when your time is limited.
