This course is intended for individuals who are responsible for creating digital content, such as blog posts, articles, and web pages, and want to optimize their writing for online audiences.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Determine the qualities of effective web content.
  • Define the purpose and goals of your web content and how you reflect that in the writing you do. 
  • Identify techniques to capture your readers’ attention and interest.
  • Apply content writing basics: research, plan and write. 
  • Use clear and concise language targeted to your readers.
  • Create accessible website content ensuring that your readers, including people with disabilities, have a consistent user experience and can easily access your information.
