There will be times when it will fall to you to make a persuasive argument, one that really matters and one in which for the sake of all concerned – you must succeed. At the heart of persuasion is a strong belief in WIN/WIN…whereas all parties come to an agreement, and everyone wins…including you.

       
As an accountant there will be meetings that will require that you succeed in making a persuasive argument or case and this course will provide you with the skills and confidence to succeed.

Applicable for:
This webinar would benefit the accounting professional who would like to be more persuasive in making their cases or from time to time needs to use persuasion effectively and respectfully as a leader, a colleague with a client.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Understand what it takes to be an effective persuader – one that is rooted in the value of respect.
  • Learn that persuasion is about rapport, certainty, confidence and communicating calmly and rationally.
  • Speak from a position of preparedness, keeping messaging simple and transferring enthusiasm in proposals.
  • Know that persuasion can involve making compromises and it also entails keeping promises and meeting expectations.
