Peter Cooney, CPA (Hon.), CMA (Hon.) was an award-winning accounting instructor that had a profound impact on his students and many CPA members in our province. He was revered as a dedicated and lively instructor who worked at the Universities of Manitoba, Winnipeg, and Brandon, as well as Carleton University in Ottawa.
In addition to his roles at post-secondary institutions, Peter spent time as an instructor for the ICAM program. He was made an honorary member of the legacy Society of Management Accountants of Manitoba in recognition of his contributions.
