Note: CPA members may be eligible to report up to 1 verifiable CPD hour for the webinar, if they consider significant and applicable learning to have occurred. Members are required to record their own CPD hours for this webinar.

2022 Election of Board Members
Voting Deadline: 12:00 pm, Wednesday, June 22, 2022
Every vote matters and has a direct impact on the future vision and direction of CPA Manitoba.
Voting opened for the CPA Manitoba 2022 Election of Board Members on Tuesday, June 7 at 12:00 pm and closes Wednesday, June 22 at 12:00 pm in accordance with CPA Manitoba Bylaw 205 (2)(a) and (c). The Board has two vacancies to be filled and the successful members will be elected to serve a three-year term. All members, except honourary members, who are in good standing are eligible to vote within the specified time period.
How to Vote
CPA Manitoba has partnered with BigPulse, a secure and confidential online voting system, to facilitate the election. Your email invitation to vote was sent from BigPulse to the primary email address on file with CPA Manitoba. If you didn’t receive an email, check your spam and/or junk folders.
For all technical questions related to the voting process, including not having a secure link for an online vote, please contact us and include your member number.

Ballot Order
All ballots in BigPulse contain a list of candidates, initially alphabetized by last name from top to bottom. Then, a method for random sorting of the names called Robson Rotation is used. This is a programmed feature of the BigPulse platform used for the election. This means that each member’s ballot order is different, as generated by a computer algorithm that ensures all board election candidates are listed equally at the top of the list (for this election one to six).
Election Results
The results of the election will be announced at the Annual General Meeting on Friday, June 24, 2022. The results will also be sent by email on Friday, June 24, 2022.
Proxy Voting
If you cannot attend the annual general meeting, Bylaw 220 provides that a member may submit a proxy. Appointment of a proxy shall be in writing in the form established by the Board. The form must be filed with the Secretary-Treasurer by 12:00 pm (noon) on the second day preceding the date of the meeting (Wednesday, June 22, 2022). To obtain a proxy form, contact us.
