CPA Manitoba Launches Indigenous Understanding Webpage

CPA Manitoba launches new online resource for CPAs, candidates, students and the public.

The new online resource features a wide variety of information including articles, news and updates pertaining to CPA Manitoba's journey towards awareness and understanding.

Artwork

The webpage features a remarkable logo designed by Shaun Vincent, the Founder and Creative Director for Vincent Design - a Winnipeg-based creative marketing company that helps organizations of all sizes achieve greater impact.

The artwork draws inspiration from First Nations, Inuit and Metis cultures by including symbols of an eagle feather, qulliq, Metis sash and flame, among others. CPA Manitoba thanks Shaun Vincent and the entire team at Vincent Design for creating such a meaningful and truly beautiful illustration to provide visual inspiration for this initiative.

Indigenous Understanding Webpage

The webpage is one tangible outcome of CPA Manitoba's learning journey towards truth and understanding of Indigenous history in our country. It features both resources authored by the accounting profession as well as from prominent thought leaders from a variety of backgrounds and expertise. It does not represent a finished product as we understand that as we continue to learn, so to will this resource and the content contained within it.
