Time Commitment
Over the course of a three-year term, the Board meets six to eight times annually. Meetings typically take place over lunch and are approximately 1.5 hours.
Board members are also required to participate on a committee. Committees usually meet two to four times annually.
Giving and Fundraising Expectations
In order for the Foundation to provide more impactful giving,
it is expected that Board members will help raise funds for the Foundation. They can do this in a number of ways, including attendance at Foundation events where possible and/or building relationships with new donors.
It is also expected that Board members will be financial donors of the Foundation. For more information on the ways you can contribute, please view our sample commitment form for reference.
