Larry H. Frostiak, FCPA, FCA Scholarship

Description

The $1,500 Larry H. Frostiak, FCPA, FCA Scholarship is provided to applicants entering the CPA Professional Education Program who demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and leadership abilities.

Criteria

The applicant must be a Manitoba student who has entered the CPA Professional Education Program and has demonstrated excellence in:

• Entrepreneurial spirit and leadership qualities; and
• Academic achievement (verified by the CPA Western School of Business).

Personal Statement Submission

• Please submit a personal statement letter as an attached document. Applicants are encouraged to include any academic and non-academic accomplishments, personal characteristics, or experiences that make them uniquely worthy of consideration.
• In a minimum of 300 words, the letter should explain:
• The applicant's entrepreneurial and leadership accomplishments;
• Academic and professional goals or achievements; and
• The personal importance of this scholarship.
• For guidance in preparing a well-written personal statement letter, applicants are encouraged to review the CPA Manitoba Foundation's Application Tips and a sample letter.
