The following information has been compiled to assist you with educating your students about financial literacy and/or careers as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).

To promote the value of what a CPA designation offers, we have included a selection of brochures, videos, and other resources that will assist your students with making a sound decision about whether pursuing a CPA designation is right for them.

We have also included a wealth of CPA Canada financial literacy resources to assist high schools in preparing their students for financial success.

    Student Magazine (published by CPA Alberta)

    Capitalize Magazine, launched in September 2009, is the career information magazine produced by CPA Alberta. Capitalize introduces students to the Alberta accounting profession, and addresses broader career-related topics and issues.

    Financial Literacy Program “Summer Camp” Workshops (Live Webinar Recording, Now Available On-Demand) 

    • Setting SMART goals – recommended for ages 10-15.
      The first step to success is to set a goal. This workshop will teach students the value of setting SMART goals. Students will become more familiar with understanding, prioritizing, and learning how to create tangible goals to achieve their dreams. Recommended for ages 10-15.
