Cross-Cultural Communication: Communicating Effectively with Diverse Clients and Colleagues. The landscape of our Province is changing. Our co-workers and our clients come from varying cultures. This workshop will help individuals identify and overcome. barriers created by the diversity of world languages and develop skills for effective cross-cultural communication.

An increase in linguistic and cultural diversity at all levels in the workplace can create many complex challenges. Among those is finding the best way organizations can bridge linguistic barriers and the cultural gaps at the workplace. It has become essential for employees to thoroughly understand cultural differences among their workforce to ensure effective communication.

Applicable for

This course will not only be valuable accountants in both public and private practice, but also to others within the industry who support the work of accounting professionals.

By the end of this course, participants should be able to:

· be aware of the how language barriers impact understanding and customer service;
