Artificial Intelligence for Accountants
This course provides a concise overview of artificial intelligence (AI) – a constellation of technologies able to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence. The software self-educates by drawing conclusions from large quantities of data and adjusts its calculations and outputs based on its observations. The course highlights how CPAs can use AI to drive innovation, increase productivity, and improve the accuracy and quality of their work.
Applicable for:
Practitioners who want a basic, non-technical understanding of AI and how to apply the technology in their accounting operations and workflow.
Prerequisites - Knowledge, Experience or Courses
Participants should have a basic understanding of Internet technology, online navigation, and digital productivity services.

By the end of this course, participants should be able to:

- When exploring AI options, practitioners will be able to explain at least 5 ways AI mirrors human thought.
- When examining AI trends, practitioners will be able to point out at least 5 examples of artificial intelligence policies that have been developed by leading enterprise and government organizations.
- When evaluating AI software, practitioners will be able to use at least 6 AI marketplaces to compare the leading AI vendors in the accounting domain.
- When developing an AI game plan, practitioners will be able to list at least 8 skills that are required for the AI age.
