Update from the CPA Manitoba Board - Summer 2022

 

CPA Manitoba’s Board of Directors met on April 28th and June 2nd for their regular meetings. The Board discussed and approved several topics which included:

  • The successful delivery of the Member Management System (MMS). The launch went very well, and any issues have now been resolved with good feedback from members.
  • Approval of the Annual Financial Statements for FY 2021-2022
  • Special projects were introduced including Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
  • Review and approval of the Board Policy Manual

With the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, the Board and Committees are now able to conduct meetings in a hybrid format. Many members are choosing to meet in person, with the proper physical distancing being observed, to fulfill their regulatory mandate and responsibilities set out in the Act, Bylaws and Board Policies.
